Where it all began
- Fachs International College of Business & Technology (FIC), t/a Fachs Business Consulting & Training was established in 2016 getting its registration by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in the same year as a Further Education and Training institution. With just four schools / faculties at its inception, Fachs College has grown to provide qualifications under 10 (ten) schools or faculties, namely: Business Management; Human Resources Management; Finance & Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Educational Sciences, Media, Information Communications Technologies, Engineering, Agriculture, Tourism and Hospitality and Leadership & Executive Development. Fachs College has gradually transformed itself into one of the preferred tertiary institutions in Gauteng with learners of diverse backgrounds and cultures showcasing South African and global societies.
- Born out of a vision to become a sustainable and globally competitive tertiary education provider of choice to individuals and corporations alike, in 2016, FIC, the main college campus in Midrand, was founded. While many think of the college’s Midrand campus in Johannesburg, Gauteng, the college also has robust presence in the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, KZN and Western Cape provinces in South Africa.
- Fachs College is the shortened name of the college while FIC is just an acronym. The College is for undergraduate students and the 10 graduate and professional Schools deliver the college’s banquette of offerings to its student community.
